... but she says she had no choice to sell to L'oreal as being on the stock market meant she had to go with sharedholders decisions and that is based on profit. Just a shame that L'oreal are the owners and they are part of the Nestle group!!!

I was really disappointed when I found out she had sold the Body Shop - what good is having your own business if you're falling to the mercy of shareholders.
I'm not going to be shoppping there anymore. Which is a shame, because I liked their vitamin e face wash.
I do wonder though how Body Shop sales will be affected - will L'Oreal find they fall because the majority of people that shop at Body Shop do so because they are making a decision to spend their money on cruelty free ethical products. I wonder if they considered this fully when they moved to take over the buinsess.
